The 2026 Honey Harvest Has Begun
While most people are still asleep, the most beautiful time of the year begins for us.
Early in the morning, we set off with our beekeeper to collect the honey supers from the beehives. Each honey super is filled with fresh organic honey and can weigh more than 25 kilograms. It is hard work, but also the moment we have been living for for months.
The cool morning hours are ideal. The bees are calm and every action is carried out with care, so that the bee colonies are disturbed as little as possible.
From beehive to extraction room
After the honey supers have been collected, they are taken to the extraction room.
This is where the next process begins:
🍯 The honey frames are carefully uncapped.
🍯 The honey is extracted cold in the traditional way.
🍯 Afterward, the honey is lightly strained to remove small wax particles.
🍯 The honey is not heated, so that all natural flavor, aroma, and valuable enzymes are preserved.
Only then is the honey carefully bottled and prepared for our customers.
Honey as nature intended
At NectarQueen, we believe that true quality begins in nature.
That is why our honey is:
✔ 100% organic certified (SKAL)
✔ Sourced from pristine nature reserves in Europe
✔ Cold-extracted
✔ Unheated
✔ Free from additives
✔ Carefully packed in the Netherlands
Every harvest is different. Nature determines how much honey the bees can spare. That is why we exclusively produce limited batches.
Respect for the bees
Behind every jar of honey are millions of flowers, thousands of flights by our bees, and many hours of craftsmanship.
For us, beekeeping is much more than harvesting honey. It is about caring for healthy bee colonies and contributing to a strong natural environment, because without bees, there is no biodiversity.
We are proud of that every single day.
