Een bijzonder bezoek

A special visit

Tea, honey, and a good conversation about bees and entrepreneurship.

Sometimes the most beautiful moments don't come from plans, but from sincere encounters.
Recently, we at NectarQueen had the privilege of receiving a special visit: the mayor of our municipality, together with her husband.

In a quiet and informal setting, we took the time to get to know one another. We drank tea together, sampled different types of honey, and spoke at length about beekeeping, bees, and the importance of a healthy natural environment. The conversation was relaxed and open, with room for curiosity, questions, and shared passion.

Tasting, experiencing, and understanding

Our honey was not only looked at but, above all, tasted. We shared stories about our methods, about organic beekeeping, cold-spinning, and respect for the natural rhythm of the bees. It was wonderful to see how attentively they listened and how great the interest was in what lies behind a jar of honey.

In addition to honey, we also showed and explained our bee bread: a pure, natural product that is receiving increasing attention due to its nutritional value and origin. The conversation naturally went deeper—about biodiversity, the importance of bees for our food chain, and the responsibility we as beekeepers carry.

Entrepreneurship with roots in the municipality

What made this visit extra special was the conversation about doing business within our municipality. About local production, sustainable operations, and how craftsmanship and quality can go hand in hand with modern entrepreneurship. It was an exchange of experiences—not a formal visit, but a real conversation.

It is precisely that connection—between nature, craftsmanship, and local entrepreneurship—that NectarQueen stands for.

A grateful moment

We look back on this meeting with great warmth. Not because it was grand or official, but precisely because it felt personal and genuine. Such moments confirm why we do what we do: working with respect for nature, with attention to quality, and with a connection to the environment in which we operate.

We would like to warmly thank the mayor and her husband for their visit, their interest, and the lovely conversation.
The tea was warm, the honey pure—and the moment special.
